Getting started
Welcome to the One Guy Consulting Portal Help Center
Step-by-step help for the One Guy Consulting HIPAA compliance portal, for Privacy Officers, employees, and vendors.
Thank you for trusting One Guy Consulting with your HIPAA compliance. I know that when I pick up new software, I want the help page right next to the window I'm working in. So here it is: how the portal works, laid out in the order that makes it easiest to use.
The portal lives at portal.oneguyconsulting.com. Button and field names on these pages are written in bold, exactly as they appear on screen.
What you walk away with
Want the big picture first? Exactly what you walk away with shows every record your practice ends up with, screen by screen: your Privacy Officer on record, a completed Security Risk Assessment, your gap report and remediation plan, training records, signed policies, executed BAAs, audit records, and an incident log.
That page shows you what you get. This help center is the companion that shows you how, click by click.
Who are you?
You run the compliance program. Start with Step 1 in Settings, then follow your dashboard.
Your organization invited you. Learn how to sign in, take training, and sign policies.
You got a link to sign a Business Associate Agreement. No account needed.

Looking for HIPAA basics?
This help center covers how to use the portal. For HIPAA itself (what counts as PHI, Covered Entity vs. Business Associate, what the Security Rule asks of you, breach basics), visit the One Guy Consulting Support Center. It has the FAQ, the 12 steps, guides, a knowledge base, and a glossary.
